For starters Joey got a job at Geneva Rock, YAY!! We are both really happy about this, He will usually get weekends off, and he'll have insurance, retirement, and all that good stuff.. I think he was getting a little scared that he wouldn't be able to find a better job and with us getting married I was a little nervous too. BUT every thing seems to be working out just fine, in our favor too. Knock on wood!!
I work at the deli in Royals Foodtown. Let me just tell you I will never look at fried chicken the same way.. and I hate violating the roasted chicken... I don't care if they are dead and featherless, its not right to go sticking your hand up there and then when you season it get told to treak it like your baby and be gentle with it.. just plain sick!! other than that I like my job. Its just a summer job, mainly to make money for my car payment. I loved waiting tables, but hated the feeling of the place, bawling everday before work was not fun..
I passed my Test to get my CNA certification, I know doesn't seem like much, but it is the stepping stone to becoming a nurse :) With this I can get a job at a care center, or even a hospital, and apply for the nursing program, YAY! I took the class two years ago and took the test the last day it was even possible for me too with out having to take the class over, I was super nervous. I thought I knew nothing.. I guess I am just good at procrastinating... my procrastination bugs Joey, a LOT!!
I went dress shopping, and I had a lot of luck this time, I found three that I really liked and was so bummed when they said that they could not get the one in white until the day after my wedding... but I went back this past monday, and with some luck they could get it in time for my bridals... a whole MONTH before my wedding, I was SO SO SO SO happy.. It was like it was ment for this dress to be mine.. It is so beautiful, and I fell like a princess in it..
so here are a few of the un lucky ones, they were all so pretty but they just didn't have what it took.
so our engagements are this next weekend, and I am super excited.. I hope that I can get Joey to smile..
As for the wedding planning, I an trudging along, I have most the decorations figured out. I just started on a project that is for the wedding and will be in our house after, I hope it turns out good. I am not at all the crafty type, But I wish I was..
I HATE making all the decisions that come along with the wedding, but like Joey says "its your wedding" so I have to remember that.. and make it how I want it.. I am not so sure what to serve at the reception, mainly because it all sounds so good..
Wowza what a long post, if ya made it this far, thanks for reading :)
