Pets, Pets, Pets....

Joey and I already have some fish, we bought last year when I moved back home for the summer. They are still going strong, even though they live with my mom.. unfortunately my apartment does not allow pets :( I now  am on the kick of having a puppy, and Joey says no... no matter how hard I beg, the answer is no. My sister, the clever one that she is, told him to propose to me with a puppy and  the ring around its neck.AGAIN the answer was a huge fat NO! I really want an English Bull Dog, So I randomly send Joey a picture of these cute little guys, saying "look how cute I am"  and I get turned down every time. His famous words are "They don't stay puppies forever!"

Aren't they so cute??

So after being shot down about the puppy a million times, I have moved on to a pet calf, Joey's first reaction was how in the world are you going to get one of those? I said we can just barrow one of Jakes, raise it until it gets too big, then send it on its way with the others. I swear Joey thinks that I am half retarded sometimes, but this is how I grew up, we have had chickens, cows,  house birds, fish, cats, dogs, hampsters, sheep, ducks and even a goat.  I figured I was safe with a calf seeings as he is a cowboy, but again I got shot down. So I guess I will have to settle for just having this little guy as a friend.  THey are having to bottle feed him at Jakes house, so I guess visiting him will have to work.
He is so cute, he kept trying to suck on my fingers..

Spring Time In Spring Canyon.

Joey has been helping Randy check cows and fence since his broken ankle. So Sunday after dinner we, along with Jake ( Joey's attached at the hip best friend) went to build a barb wire gate. As we were up there it started raining hard. They got done and we hiked back to the truck. The road was super slick and Joey has a two wheel drive truck with very bald tires, I was sure we would have to call for help or spend the night up there. Joey was trying to turn around and no matter how far he had the wheel cranked, we weren't turning. After getting no where fast they decided to just back up. This worked and well, we more heading down the road sideways. As more and more mud collected on the tires we went faster, taking out many large trees. As we got to a clearing, Jake yells turn the wheel the other way, as Joey does we come to a stop and are able to turn around and finally go forward down the road. It is never a dull moment with these two, as we laughed all the way to dryer road.    I really wish that I had pictures of how muddy it was, and our tracks down the road. I was really scared.

Love Hate Relationship...

As you can tell by they title, this is about a love, hate relationship... but not with anything ordinary, with my cell phone!  I have decided that I HATE cellphones. My regular phone broke yesterday and so I used my mom's phone for the rest of the day and the most part of today.  I go the Alltel store, and they tell me that they can't fix it. Not only that, they can't switch to my old phone from a year ago... so that's right, I have to buy a new phone. This normally wouldn't be that bad of a situation, but I also get a new phone in the middle of April, because Alltel is switching to AT&T.  (Yes, I did ask and No, I couldn't get the AT&T phone today)  Another thing is that if everything was going as planned, I would have had the new AT&T phone by now, but with the storms this winter it has pushed the switch back from February to April.  Don't get me wrong I love texting, and being able to know that if I did wreck, someone might be able to find me. However I wish they would make a stronger phone, that wasn't a brick! I have had my fair share of phones ( I think I am on my 11th phone, since I was a freshman) and I can say that none  of them have been that great! I hope the next ones are a little better :)

Cute Little Kids

So I don't know if you have all heard but Avalon and Travis had their little girl!  So while they were in the hospital, Connor stayed at Joey's. I went over there Thursday and Had so much fun. Connor knows the sounds to all the barn animals, and even a few more. Joey tired to teach him what a coyote and a goose say. Joey and I couldn't go see Cambree because we were sick(which makes me so so so sad because I love babies).
Travis and Avalon have such a cute little family.

A WEEKEND FULL OF FUN

Last weekend Joey and I had a blast, on friday I drove over to Nephi to spend the weekend.  Joey asked me on a date "just the two of us".  So we headed up north, we went to Trafalga, and went miniature golfing, I have only gone one time before this. I lost the my ball once and Joey lost his twice, he kept laughing because I not very good at golfing.
This was both of our balls after one hit, but Joey made sure I knew he was just a little bit better. His is the red ball.
After that we went to the mall and ate, of course I ate Panda Express,  I love chinese.  Joey ate at the pizza place and said he needed a translater to understand them.
Finally we went to the movie JUST GO WITH IT. I laughed so hard, it was so funny. I think it is definitely one to watch, at least once!

Saturday we stayed home during the day and watched the BYU game, and I took a long nap. Joey has a new obsession with trying to beat the high score of spider solitare on my computer so he did that for a while.
Later that night Jake, Bryson,Tyson,Joey and I all went bowling. It was way fun.

On sunday Joey and I and Bryson went to Wyoming with Jake to pick up his  new truck. It was so pretty up there, I loved it. There was so much snow, and I am sure all they boys were in heaven. They all love snowmobiling.

In Afton, The worlds largest elkhorn arch.
Ice blobs, outside of Afton.

And now for my favorite part of the trip.THE ELK!!
I love elk I want to own my own elk farm so I was so happy to see them just feet from the road.
